Aromatic Description : Sweet, fresh and tangy smell
Therapeutic properties : Antiseptic, anti-depressant, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, carminative, diuretic, cholagogue, sedative and tonic.
Description : Orange essential oil cooling to the body. It reduces stress and anxiety, helps to overcome insomnia and depression, and slightly lowers blood pressure. It is also known to combat wrinkles, and other signs of aging. It has a purifying effect on the body.
Use : Bring happiness and warmth to the min, help people to relax, help children to sleep at night, eliminate toxins from the body, balance water retention and obesity, helps to balance water processes, detoxification, aiding the immune system and general well-being, help to detoxify a congested skin, good skin tonic, great for mature skin, acne and soothing a dry irritated skin.
Blend well with : Lavender, Neroli, Lemon, Clary Sage, Myrrh, and spice oils. Direction:
Oil Burner: Add 4 drops of essential oil for a burning time of 20 minutes.
Massage: Dilute 3-5 drops of essential oil in 10 ml. of carrier oil.
Inhalation: Put 5 drops in 200 ml. of steamed water and inhale for 3-5 minutes.
Bath: Put 15 drops of essential oil in the bath tub for a 20 minutes bath.
Precautions : It is a safe non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitizing oil, yet care must be taken with it since it can have a phototoxic effect. It should therefore preferably not be applied before going out into sunlight for prolonged periods.
